Are you asking yourself how you can go from shopping for the best investment at a franchise expo to becoming a grinning franchise owner on your grand opening day? Many potential franchisees are interested in opening a franchise but are not quite sure what type or how to go about harnessing their dreams of small business ownership.
Opportunities to open brand new spa locations with Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa are now available in Atlanta and Minneapolis – St. Paul. Potential owners with no previous spa experience have the opportunity to infiltrate the health and wellness markets in these cities with single or multiple units. This could be you!
But how does one start the process of becoming a franchisee? There are 6 stepping stones in the process with Hand & Stone. I’ll show you the way in the steps below.
Steps to Hand & Stone Franchise Ownership
Step 1: Make Your Initial Inquiry
Do you want to become your own boss or start a new career? Are you looking to work on your own schedule or help others live their best lives through health and wellness? You can explore all of these aspects and more as a Hand & Stone franchisee.
The initial inquiry stage is a time to request additional information about franchise ownership. All it takes is a click of a button to learn more about franchise business concepts. You can do that right here.
Step 2: Get on the Introductory Call
The next step for potential Hand & Stone franchisees is an introductory call. A member of the Hand & Stone Franchise Development Team (like yours truly) will contact you to learn more about your objectives as a small business owner and investor as well as answer any questions you have about the franchisee application, onboarding and opening process, location search, and more.
Step 3: Attend a One-on-One Informational Webinar
Next, we’ll schedule a one-on-one webinar, providing you with a comprehensive overview of the Hand & Stone brand, as well as in-depth discussion about our Expert Franchise Support Systems. Some of the ways we support franchisees include help with:
- Real estate
- Design and construction
- Financing options
- Investment training and education
- Marketing and advertising
- Average unit economics
After the webinar, you can walk away with the knowledge about how Hand & Stone will help you in your role as a single or multi-unit franchisee.
Step 4: Complete Your Franchise Application
Upon completion of your Franchise Application, you will have the opportunity to review our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and participate franchisee validation calls. The FDD includes information about fees, estimated initial investment costs, contracts, corporate financial statements, and other valuable information to help you make an informed decision. Your validation calls allow you one-on- one time to connect directly with our franchisees and hear their experiences in business ownership.
Step 5: Attend Discovery Day
The next step is visiting our corporate headquarters in Trevose, Pennsylvania for Discovery Day. During this integral part of the process, you get to meet our corporate team and observe the internal workings of a fully functioning Hand & Stone spa location. Discovery Day is an exclusive opportunity to learn about one of the best new franchise investments in person.
At Discovery Day, you’ll hear business presentations on:
- The booming industry of massage facials and waxing
- The Hand & Stone vision
- Strengths of the business model
- Franchise support
- Key differentiators
We may even find time to immerse you in a relaxing facial or massage treatment to ensure the full Hand & Stone experience.
Step 6: Congratulations, You’re Now a Franchise Owner!
Upon approval, you receive your franchise agreement, assigned territory, and a warm welcome to the Hand & Stone team as a brand new franchisee. Congratulations! At this point, you’ve bought a franchise and are well on the path of small business ownership.
You can make a business investment that makes sense for you, be your own boss, and set your own schedule. Take life by the reins as a Hand & Stone franchisee!
